Created by Wayback Revive Support Team, Modified on Sun, 4 Jan at 11:49 AM by Wayback Revive Support Team

Not all websites can be fully restored. Restoration depends on the availability and quality of archived data.

When a Website CAN Be Restored:

  • The website has snapshots on Archive.org

  • Pages, images, and stylesheets are available

  • The site was primarily static or content-based

When Restoration May Be Limited:

  • Missing or incomplete snapshots

  • Heavy use of dynamic content

  • Login-based or database-driven pages

When Restoration Is NOT Possible:

  • No archived snapshots exist

  • The site was blocked from archiving

  • Content was never publicly accessible

How to Check Eligibility:

You can:

  • Share your domain/query with our support team

  • Use our archive checking tools

  • Request a feasibility review before ordering
